Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

Opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with thermal and furnace design, and superior drafting performance, with an Expanding International Thermal Process Equipment OEM located in Kennesaw (North Cobb County) Georgia Area.

QUALIFICATIONS

1) A Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.

2) 6-10 years of experience in a related field.

3) Drafting software capability (Autocad & Solid works).

4) Strong PC Skills

5) Ability to perform c structural design, thermal expansion and heat transfer, fluid flow and mechanical drive calculations.

6) Ability to analyze and select parts, alloys, piping components and thermal insulation.

7) Good Communication, presentation, project management and planning skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1) Design of thermal process manufacturing equipment valued from $.5 million to $16.5 million.

2) Function as internal technical leader and point of contact within the project with responsibility and authority for all aspects of Engineering, drawing accuracy and verification, and mechanical function of assemblies.

3) Interface with other internal departments ( project management, purchasing, field service, manufacturing and sales.

4) Travel - domestic and international up to 30% of the time.
