Pit furnaces handle long parts or very heavy loads that require overhead handling equipment.  Standard pit furnace designs can be easily modified to accomodate your specific requirements. Retorts can be provided for bright annealing, brazing, gas nitriding and other processes requiring tight atmosphere control.  Convection furnaces are available in three temperature ranges to 1400° F.  Consolidated Engineering Company also offers four standard pit nitriding furnaces.
