Nemak, S.A. - Basketless Heat Treatment System for Cylinder Heads

CEC has received a purchase order from Nemak, S.A. for the completion of the Basketless Heat Treatment System for Cylinder Heads at Nemak's Monterrey, Mexico plant.

Saint Jean Industries - Forge Preheat Furnace

CEC has received a purchase order from Saint Jean Industries, Heber Springs, AR for a Gas Fired Forge Preheat Furnace. The furnace heats 4,000 lbs/hr of cast aluminum shapes prior to forging to shape in Saint Jean Industries' new Press #3. The furnace utilizes jet heating principles developed by CEC.

Northrop Grumman - Tip Up Furnace

CEC has received a purchase order from northrop Grumman Shipbuilding in Newport News, Virginia for a Propane Heated Tip-up Furnace with Traversing Manipulator, Quench, Load/Unload Station, Transfer Car and Controls. The agitation features three directional flow; upwards and from each side. CEC earned this award against five competitors by proposing superior technology.

Southwire - Mobile Anneal Furnace

CEC has received a purchase order from Southwire, Hawesville, KY for a Mobile Anneal Furnace. This unique furnace anneals six (6) 96" diameter reels per load of aluminum wire. The wire is used for power transmission products and Southwire is the world's largest supplier of this product. The order is a continuation of the excellent relationship between Southwire's plants and CEC. CEC now has thermal equipment at three Southwire plants.

CEC Designs and Installs 4 Stress Relief/Ferritic Anneal Furnaces for Bosch Chassis

Bosch Chassis Systems, a division of The Bosch Group, has contracted with Consolidated Engineering Company (CEC) to design and manufacture four stress relief/ferritic annealing furnaces for their Dalian, China facility.  The Dalian plant is expanding into the processing of cast iron components and required heat treat capacity for two thermal processes – stress relief and ferritic annealing.

PAL-CON, Ltd purchases Bell Brazing Furnace from CEC
PAL-CON, a well known company that repairs, maintains, and manufactures Gas Turbine Regenerators, has signed an agreement with Consolidated Engineering Company (CEC) for a bell brazing furnace. This furnace will be used to braze together the stainless steel of their regenerative heat exchangers in a highly proprietary process that requires three different protective cover gases. The design of this furnace requires a large retort that houses the product and protective gases.

CEC Sells a Side Loaded Furnace to Power Generation Equipment Manufacturer
A major international manufacturer of power generation and rail transport equipment has contracted with Consolidated Engineering Company (CEC) to design and manufacture a side-loaded high/low temperature furnace for their manufacturing facility in China. The project requirements called for equipment that could handle a very narrow range of acceptable thermal uniformity, a rapid heat up of the empty chamber from ambient to 1200°F within six hours, heat-up of 10 Tons of steel tubes within thirty minutes and the processing of multiple different lengths of steel tubes with varying time frames.

CEC to Supply Drop Bottom Furnace to a major Aerospace Manufacturer
A major aerospace manufacturer has contracted with Consolidated Engineering Company (CEC) for a drop bottom furnace, to be to be installed in a foundry for aerospace castings in Iowa. The parts being treated are a critical component on the aircraft and must be treated in a precisely controlled manner. Upon inspection of the furnace specifications and engineering documentation, this customer felt that CEC had the superior design with regard to heat-up, thermal uniformity and quenching. Currently these parts are being processed using pit furnace equipment.

CEC Sells Titanium Anneal Furnaces to D-J Engineering

D-J Engineering, a subsidiary of the D-J Group of Companies, has contracted with Consolidated Engineering Company (CEC) to purchase a titanium annealing furnace.  D-J needed a furnace that could handle a wide thermal range of 700°-1350°F with only a +/- 8°F tolerance in uniformity and that had the ability to control cool the parts from 1350°F down to 700°F..
