Scott P. Crafton, CEO & Chairman of the Board
Scott Crafton has held the position of Chairman, President, or CEO of CEC for 16 years and has more than 28 years of service at CEC. Mr. Crafton has previously held the positions of Vice President, General Manager and Engineering Manager at CEC prior to his acceptance of the post of President and CEO in 1991. Mr. Crafton is considered one of the world’s leading experts in automated aluminum casting processing and is listed as an inventor on 75 of the 84 U.S. and foreign patents held by CEC.  He is also listed as an inventor on numerous pending patent applications. His manufacturing process patents and machinery designs have allowed casting manufacturers to save significant energy and costs.

Paul M. Crafton, President
Paul M. Crafton holds the position of President, and manages the the marketing department.  Prior to this position, he was a Senior Vice-President and worked in CEC's Oven & Furnace Sales division. He also oversaw CEC’s R&D expansion and numerous projects related to validating and improving Sand Lion® and casting processes.  Paul is in is 24th year of service to CEC, starting as a fabricator of CEC equipment for three years and running all plant operations as Plant Manager for ten years. He is listed as an inventor on 44 of the 84 U.S. and foreign patents held by CEC. He is also listed as an inventor on numerous pending patent applications.

J. Alan Letson, Chief Financial Officer
Alan joined CEC in 1998, after having served in a similar role at another Atlanta based manufacturing company. He began his career in public accounting in 1980 with KPMG and has a total of 9 years of public accounting and 11 years of corporate accounting background. Alan is a "Certified Public Accountant" in the State of Georgia.

Volker Knobloch, Senior Vice President of Sales
He started his foundry career as an apprentice in an iron foundry in 1963 and earned his degree as a graduated Foundry Engineer in 1970. Volker worked with and for several well known foundries and foundry equipment suppliers world wide; he came to CEC from Georg Fischer AG in Switzerland in 1996. He is responsible for world-wide sales for CEC. He is listed as an inventor on several of the U.S. and foreign patents held by CEC.

Robert D. Howard , Manager of Oven/Furnace Sales
Robert Howard’s experience base with engineered thermal systems extends to 1973 and includes four different furnace and oven companies.  Positions held include design engineer, project engineer, contract manager, manager of engineering, manager of manufacturing development, business unit manager, market manager, vice-president of sales and marketing, and executive vice-president.  Included are approximately 450 engineered to order projects involving aluminum thermal processes.  Mr. Howard has written several papers for publication in technical journals and magazines and has presented for ASM, SAE, and SME in the United States and in China.  Mr. Howard is a member of  American Foundrymen and ASM and is a graduate of Emporia State University.

Shanker Subramaniam , Technical Director
Shanker joined CEC in 1995 as a Senior Project Engineer, moved into a Mechanical Engineering Management role and ultimately the Technical Director position. Prior to joining CEC, Mr. Subramaniam worked for other oven and furnace manufacturers in the US, and as partner in a family owned thermal processing equipment company in India. Shanker holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from IIT in Madras, India, a M.S.M.E from the University of Kentucky and a M.B.A in Management of technology from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia.
