CEC has received a purchase order from an automobile manufacturer in California for a T6 treatment system for their High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) parts. This system will be used to develop the lowest cost and highest quality processes for these types of castings.

A well-known automotive foundry in Germany placed another order for a CEC Sand Lion® furnace. This turnkey system will heat-treat engine block castings in aluminum alloy with the 3-in-1 process; heat treating metal, removing sand and reclaiming sand inside the furnace. This foundry now will have 5 of these 3 in 1 lines that process over 500 engine blocks per hour in total.

CEC has received two purchase orders from a company in Texas for a Mobile Annealing Furnace and a Copper Anneal Furnace. The Mobile Annealing Furnace will be identical to the two mobile annealers previously provided by CEC to this plant and continues the excellent relationship between our companies. The Copper Anneal Furnace will be predominantly used to anneal heavier gauge copper wire which will be used for residential and commercial wiring.

CEC has received an order to provide a gas atmosphere electrically heated 1000°C Pit Furnace to a company in Asia that provides aerospace engine and component repair services to major airlines.

CEC has received a purchase order for a car bottom type Homogenizing Furnace from a casting and forging company that manufactures suspension, steering, and braking components for automobile manufacturers. This furnace is designed to homogenize aluminum bars. This project is the eighth major installation for CEC in this company’s plant since 2004.

CEC has been awarded a contract to design, manufacture, and perform the installation of a heat treat integrated system consisting of a Heat Treat Tip-Up Furnace, Quench, Manipulator, Low Temperature Aging Furnace, and Load/Unload/Cool Tables to be installed at a specialty metals manufacturing facility in Alabama.

CEC has received a purchase from a major USA wheel manufacturer for a T6 Heat Treat System consisting of two (2) Roller Hearth Furnaces with quench tanks, two (2) Roller Hearth Age Ovens, two (2) Post-Age Roller Hearth Coolers and interconnecting conveyors, sized to heat treat 550 cast aluminum wheels per hour to a T6 temper

CEC has received a purchase order for a gas-fired die heating oven from a European forging company. The oven has a single chamber with capacity for two trays and rated for 1000 °F maximum.

CEC has received a Purchase Order from a large European forging manufacturer for a Forging Stock Preheat Furnace. Throughput is two (2) forgings every eighteen (18) seconds = 400 per hour. This furnace features rapid heating and very accurate part positioning on the discharge so the robot that feeds the forge press can find the parts reliably. This Forging Stock Preheat Furnace is the third CEC Forging Stock Preheat Furnace for this customer at this facility.

CEC has received a Purchase Order for a Gas-Fired U-Shaped T6 System to Process 184 - 772 Aluminum Forgings per Hour from a European Forging company. This is the third line that CEC has built for this customer. CEC has supplied machinery to this factory for more than 15 years.

CEC has received a Purchase Order for an Electrically Heated Model DBS-70 Cylindrical Drop-Bottom Furnace designed to heat treat aerospace aluminum control tubes. This machine is designed to meet the most stringent military and aerospace specifications.

CEC has been awarded a contract for a gas-fired two-zone flow forming furnace for a casting facility in Mexico. Flow formed wheels are castings which are then heated and hot formed into final shape. Flow formed wheels are therefore more dense with less porosity and provide a more durable wheel than a cast aluminum wheel.

CEC has been awarded a contract for a T6 Solution Heat Treat System from a Tier One automotive supplier. The new T6 line will be the third CEC system in this plant and continues the excellent trust placed in CEC and our products over the last dozen years.

CEC has received a Purchase Order from Ohio for a Gas-Fired Four-Position Indexing Solution Furnace. This order demonstrates CEC's continued dominance in this market. Scope of supply includes the four-position furnace, quench, elevation steel, batch age oven, cooling tower, data acquisition, and load trays.

CEC has received a Purchase Order for five Atmosphere Coil Annealing Furnaces for a plant expansion. This order continues an excellent working history between the ordering company and CEC. The project will last 1½ years with deliveries of equipment in approximate 6 week increments. CEC earned the order in tough competition, but we won on the basis of our innovative engineering and mutually successful relationship.
