CEC has received an order from our customer, a large US automotive casting company, for a second T6 Heat Treat Furnace System. This system will be installed in their plant in Mexico for solution heat treating aluminum castings. 

CEC has been awarded a contract for a T6 Heat Treat System consisting of a solution furnace, quench tank, age oven, post-age cooler and interconnecting conveyors. The equipment will be used to heat treat wheel castings. The design is similar to the successful system previously supplied to this customer. 

CEC has received a Purchase Order for a T6 Heat Treat Furnace System consisting of a solution furnace, water quench, age oven, and interconnecting conveyors. The system will be used to heat treat products for the truck and trailer industry.

CEC has received an order to provide a Roller Hearth Solution Furnace System with single level of rollers in the furnace, nozzle quenching, and single level of rollers in age, to process cast aluminum alloy castings.

CEC has been awarded a contract to provide an Electrically Heated CEC Model DBS-27 Drop Bottom Furnace with mobile stainless steel immersion quench tank and air quench with additional water spray/mist. The CEC design incorporates the three types of quenching to provide three unique degrees of cooling during quench.

CEC has received a purchase order for a Mobile Gantry Drop Bottom Heat Treat Furnace System from a leading provider of aluminum alloys for aerospace applications. The solution furnace is a vertical tower furnace for aluminum alloys. The furnace is supported by one of two quench tanks – water and glycol in water. Also included is a vertical rinse with glycol thermal separation/reclamation. The new solution furnace is a key component in a large expansion by this company to satisfy increasing demand for their aluminum alloys. CEC was chosen as a partner based upon our technical competence and successful prior furnace installation in 2012.   

CEC has received a purchase order for a Gas-Fired Solution Heat Treat System from an east coast manufacturer of aluminum die castings. The system will include a roller hearth furnace, water quench, age oven, cooling station, and controls.

CEC has received a purchase order for a Mobile Annealing Furnace from a producer of specialty aluminum products in the U.S. The mobile annealing furnace will feature two elevated stationary load pads, special bottom clamp arm sealing and two vertical lift doors. 

CEC has received a purchase order for a Gas-Fired Aging Oven from an automotive parts manufacturing company in Mexico. The system is an in-line continuous oven and cool unit with single level of rollers and will process high pressure die cast engine blocks. 

CEC has received a purchase order for a Gas-Fired Flow Form Preheat Furnace from a manufacturer of cast aluminum wheels to be installed in Mexico. This furnace is similar to one provided by CEC for this company in 2013.  Flow formed wheels are castings which are heated and hot formed into final shape, making them more dense with less porosity, thus providing a more durable wheel than cast aluminum.

CEC has received a purchase order from an automotive parts manufacturing company in Mexico for a Roller Hearth Solution Furnace for heat treatment of cylinder heads. This basket type furnace has dual level of rollers in furnace and age, and includes an air quench and cool unit.

CEC has received a purchase order from a premier aluminum design and casting company in the U.S. for a continuous roller hearth T6 system with water quench and age oven for the heat treatment of cast aluminum knuckles and other automotive castings. This company is a rapidly growing foundry business which has been consistently winning automotive orders by the display of the same characteristics that won CEC this order.  

CEC has received a purchase order for a T6 Solution Heat Treat System from a prominent manufacturer of brake, steering, and other products for automobiles. This new T6 will be the fourth CEC T6 in this Georgia plant and continues their excellent trust placed in CEC and our products. 

CEC has received a purchase order from a leading wire manufacturer in the southern US for a Flat Cable Anneal Furnace with Hot Car.  CEC supplied a similar annealing furnace to this company in 2009 and continues a growing relationship.  

CEC has received purchase orders for two (2) two-chambered Coupling Batch Ovens. One oven will be installed in southern US and the other in UAE. The ovens are used to cure the coatings put into drill pipe couplings for oil and gas drilling. One side of the oven preheats the couplings and the other side cures the couplings following coating. This company is a leading coater of oilfield pipe internationally.

CEC has received a Purchase Order for two new Electric Tundish Heaters. CEC has supplied similar Tundish Heaters to this aluminum manufacturer in 2002 and 2009. 

CEC has received a purchase order for a four-zone natural gas-fired chain conveyor solution furnace for the T4 treatment of high pressure die castings to be installed in a casting facility in Mexico. The parts to be heat treated are automobile shock towers. This system includes a solution furnace, air quench, age oven, cool unit and four load/unload gantry cranes, and will process the castings at a rate of 90 castings per hour. 

Principal Design Complete:  Large Mobile Drop Bottom System

Continuing the CEC tradition of building the largest and most sophisticated drop bottom furnaces in the world, CEC has completed the principal design for a custom system that combines a 4-story tall mobile furnace with an agitated quench and rinse system. CEC designed this system to meet the exact needs of the customer by providing a furnace and quench system tailored to the customer’s product.

 

CEC has received a contract from a leading manufacturer of aerospace parts on the west coast for a Mobile Drop Bottom Furnace for the solution heat treatment of jet engine components.

CEC received a purchase order from a west coast manufacturer of aerospace propulsion systems for an Electrically Heated Atmospheric Braze Furnace. The furnace will be used to braze rocket components in argon and hydrogen atmospheres for space launch applications for NASA and commercial rockets.


CEC has received a purchase order from an automobile manufacturer in California for a T6 treatment system for their High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) parts. This system will be used to develop the lowest cost and highest quality processes for these types of castings.


A well-known automotive foundry in Germany placed another order for a CEC Sand Lion® furnace. This turnkey system will heat-treat engine block castings in aluminum alloy with the 3-in-1 process; heat treating metal, removing sand and reclaiming sand inside the furnace. This foundry now will have 5 of these 3 in 1 lines that process over 500 engine blocks per hour in total.


CEC has received two purchase orders from a company in Texas for a Mobile Annealing Furnace and a Copper Anneal Furnace. The Mobile Annealing Furnace will be identical to the two mobile annealers previously provided by CEC to this plant and continues the excellent relationship between our companies. The Copper Anneal Furnace will be predominantly used to anneal heavier gauge copper wire which will be used for residential and commercial wiring.


CEC has received an order to provide a gas atmosphere electrically heated 1000°C Pit Furnace to a company in Asia that provides aerospace engine and component repair services to major airlines.


CEC has received a purchase order for a car bottom type Homogenizing Furnace from a casting and forging company that manufactures suspension, steering, and braking components for automobile manufacturers. This furnace is designed to homogenize aluminum bars. This project is the eighth major installation for CEC in this company’s plant since 2004.


CEC has been awarded a contract to design, manufacture, and perform the installation of a heat treat integrated system consisting of a Heat Treat Tip-Up Furnace, Quench, Manipulator, Low Temperature Aging Furnace, and Load/Unload/Cool Tables to be installed at a specialty metals manufacturing facility in Alabama.


CEC has received a purchase order from a major USA wheel manufacturer for a T6 Heat Treat System consisting of two (2) Roller Hearth Furnaces with quench tanks, two (2) Roller Hearth Age Ovens, two (2) Post-Age Roller Hearth Coolers and interconnecting conveyors, sized to heat treat 550 cast aluminum wheels per hour to a T6 temper.


CEC has received a purchase order for a gas-fired die heating oven from a European forging company. The oven has a single chamber with capacity for two trays and rated for 1000 °F maximum.


CEC has received a Purchase Order from a large European forging manufacturer for a Forging Stock Preheat Furnace. Throughput is two (2) forgings every eighteen (18) seconds = 400 per hour. This furnace features rapid heating and very accurate part positioning on the discharge so the robot that feeds the forge press can find the parts reliably. This Forging Stock Preheat Furnace is the third CEC Forging Stock Preheat Furnace for this customer at this facility.


CEC has received a Purchase Order for a Gas-Fired U-Shaped T6 System to Process 184 - 772 Aluminum Forgings per Hour from a European Forging company. This is the third line that CEC has built for this customer. CEC has supplied machinery to this factory for more than 15 years.


CEC has received a Purchase Order for a Billet Homogenizing Furnace from an Asian Tier One casting and forging company that manufactures suspension, steering, and braking components for automobile manufacturers.


CEC has received a Purchase Order for an Electrically Heated Model DBS-70 Cylindrical Drop-Bottom Furnace designed to heat treat aerospace aluminum control tubes. This machine is designed to meet the most stringent military and aerospace specifications.


CEC has been awarded a contract for a gas-fired two-zone flow forming furnace for a casting facility in Mexico. Flow formed wheels are castings which are then heated and hot formed into final shape. Flow formed wheels are therefore more dense with less porosity and provide a more durable wheel than a cast aluminum wheel.


CEC has been awarded a contract for a T6 Solution Heat Treat System from a Tier One automotive supplier. The new T6 line will be the third CEC system in this plant and continues the excellent trust placed in CEC and our products over the last dozen years.


CEC has received a Purchase Order from Ohio for a Gas-Fired Four-Position Indexing Solution Furnace. This order demonstrates CEC's continued dominance in this market. Scope of supply includes the four-position furnace, quench, elevation steel, batch age oven, cooling tower, data acquisition, and load trays.


CEC has received a Purchase Order for five Atmosphere Coil Annealing Furnaces for a plant expansion. This order continues an excellent working history between the ordering company and CEC. The project will last 1½ years with deliveries of equipment in approximate 6 week increments. CEC earned the order in tough competition, but we won on the basis of our innovative engineering and mutually successful relationship.


CEC has received a purchase order from Texas for two Natural Gas Direct-Fired Mobile Anneal Furnaces. This is an expansion into aluminum construction cable and wire for the ordering company and shows confidence in CEC from the successful hot car type annealer we previously supplied.
